    Strange coolant leak

Hi, I'm beginning to hate M20's again some "head"aches :-(

I've a giant water leak in my M20b25

for some reason approx, 1.5 litres disappears every 20mls

yes my oil is creamy (but my coolant is still clean blue and without airbubbles)
the car was stored for 4years so I think I've some condense inside the engine

once the engine is warmed up it doesn't even cloud white

and it doesn't overheat when I idle for a reasonable time

Who can figure out where my coolant goes ???

Oil can be creamy if you wait a long time to do oil changes. That happens a lot with newer BMW's. i.e. e46's, e38's, e39's, etc because of the 15,000 miles oil change bullshit that they pull. Maybe you just need a new coolant resevoir cap ;) Does it ever make a puddle on the ground? If it doesnt, and you have to add a lot of coolant all the time... change the cap for a couple bucks and see what happens.

I used to loose a little bit and it turned out to be the cap. Since I replaced I haven't lost any coolant.

Not the oil cap. The coolant resevoir cap.
