    Alignment Problems

    I fucking hate Firestone... I went there after I finished replacing the front suspension on my car to get it re-aligned... I even bought the lifetime alignment plan for the car. It's taken then 3 fuckin days. The first day I started to drive it off and it wasn't even done... yesterday I went to pick it up and it still pulled to the right a bit. Today I get a call and they tell me that they rotated the tires on the front first and then tried putting the ones on the back on the front and it pulls only a little bit but that "there is no spec to adjust my car for pull" which pretty much means they've given up on it.

    The guy I talked to tried to imply that the problem is being caused by my tires all of which are brand new. WTF!?

    that's dumb. sorry to hear about that. The shop that did mine, had a difficult time because of my worn rear bushings, but it still only took one time, and 4 hrs. and $20. maybe one of your rims is bent?

      I wouldn't think that it would be bent that bad and I would definately feel it. All the wheels are balanced perfectly.

        I just thought of something.. I also posted that my steering rack is beginning to leak on the passenger side.. would that cause my steering to pull to the right?

          FYI most "pulls" are the fault of tires, not alignments.

            Could also be something mechanical. i.e. sticky caliper.

              What can be done to fix it? The mechnic said they rotated the front tires to the back and the new rear ones to the front and it helped alot but it still pulls a little to the right. I don't even know if "pulling" is the right term.

              When I let go of the wheel the steering wheel turns right as does the car..
