    Cabbie' rear defroster no workie??

Ok the rear defroster in my cabbie hasnt worked since I got it (Not that its a HUGE concern really)
With Cabbie's is NOT the same as hard top where its built into the glass. Instead there's a sortof vent behind the rear seat. Whats under that I have NO idea as I havent taken it aprt and my ETK is FUBAR'd. When I push the button @ the dash you can hear faint click in the rear but nuttin happens....
    Any clue's????????

I'm sorry I can't help, but I would try switching out the fan with another, and see what happens.

I like the vent because if I create any sort of tire smoke from any kind of street-borne mischief, I can "save" the smell for later!

I just push the button, and I smell smoking tires all over again!

A couple resistance heating elements ala toaster. I have extra fan/heaters you can have for the shipping if you can't figure yours out.

That would be great as I think I may need to take you up on that offer. From the sounds of it either the fan or the elements if not both are bad. I have two parts cars but since neither is a cabbie I dont have that part.

what is your location?? Since I'm not sure of the size's/weight you have any idea what shipping would be?? Zip is 03835

I'm in Cincy oh 45213. Figure $10. Check yours first. I doubt if its bad. It's more likely something electrical. There's inline fuse, a top up micro switch that has to be working etc. Remove rear seat back and it is all exposed. Put 12v right to it to see if it works. PM me if you still need one.
