Think this is a terrible idea?

Would you guys drive your cars if you only had one e-brake shoe bolt holding it on? Well easier to say that one side of the ebrake is nice and secure, meanwhile, the right side is only there becuase the left side hold down spring and retainer are keeping it there...
Im only going to the car wash, but im not sure if i trust it. I was thinking if i never used the ebrake it wouldnt be an awful idea?

Just be carefull, on my old 85 318i one of the shoes didn't hold very well, I had to always make sure I had it in gear as long as having the E-brake up as it would roll every so often.
