Are you sure cuz when my car first started doing this the first one i pulled off rattled and i replaced it with one that didnt rattle and it worked fine for about 3 month's then started idle spiking and acting all jerky wile driving it and i pulled it off and it was rattling like the last one. If you had said that more than one NEW ICV's have failed, I'd say that the ICM is bad. But with used parts all bets are off. Additionally intake leaks can look like a bad ICV. Have a shop run a smoke test and fix the leaks it reveals.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Well i am now convinced it is not my icv just put 3 diffrent ones on and no change my intake system is solid no leaks but when i unplug my icv there is no change so i'm thinking mabey a wiring problam.............. any thoughts? Intake leaks can result in no change in idle speed when the ICV is disconnected. Have a smoke test run.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
