Hey guys so i just gotta question im hoping someone can answer for me. I gotta 91 318is and when im just sitting at a stop with my car idling anf turn on my a/c or my fan or roll my windows up or down my idle drops.. why could this be? Alternator maybe?

The idle is dropping because use of those things increases load applied by the alternator to the engine. If the engine management system is working properly and there are no intake leaks the idle speed should barely change. A noticeable changes suggests investigation into why and repairs.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
