ok
1. depends on price you pay for "i" engine. try to get the whole car.
2. depends on if you have the square or round plug connector.
3. depends on if you can't afford the m50.
4 use the search for this toppic here and on roachfly. It is the top question of the day. next to bumpers, 5 lugs, lights, and fiberglass. All can be found in detail in the archives of both sites.

nah, I'd rather work on the same car... at least I know that the engine has 0 miles on it and that I know what went into the engine... i mean, if you haven't done anything to the car yet, might as well go get another one, but if you've already done stuff like suspension, sound system, etc...Comment

Anywho no i am not as i wouldnt ship anywho and i am using parts off of the 325i motor and putting it on my Eta second i am not keeping my Eta motor stock at all i will and i am currently on the look out for a 323i head once i get that item like i have said in previous posts will be matching it up with the 325i exhaust, throttle, manifold and if that doesnt satisfy me then i might pull the old 325i block out of storage and pop it in. ;)
I was kinda tossing this around and doubint it would be possible but just might,
would it be possible to put a 325i engine harness onto an Eta block and be able to use a 325i ECU with out it conflicting with the Eta block? (i would do this after i have done modifications to the block)Comment

There is nothing on the block that the wiring harness plugs into, except the oil pressure sensor (which can be swapped) so you'll be fine.Originally posted by Super Etawould it be possible to put a 325i engine harness onto an Eta block and be able to use a 325i ECU with out it conflicting with the Eta block? and while the plugs are different the oil pressure sensors from older years and newer years are electrically the same :)Originally posted by FredThere is nothing on the block that the wiring harness plugs into, except the oil pressure sensor (which can be swapped) so you'll be fine.Originally posted by Super Etawould it be possible to put a 325i engine harness onto an Eta block and be able to use a 325i ECU with out it conflicting with the Eta block? you're better off building a 2.8l stroker or just bolting on the "i" head for low compression for a turbo motor if you're on the cheap.Comment

I wonder if it would better to do the 2.7 or 2.8 for the turbo rather than the 2.5 im gonna change the stock internals....i was wondering which would be the best way to get like 250 whp or more...would it be the 2.5 or 2.7 or 2.8.....or would it be cheaper just drop the s50 in there!???Comment
