    clutch pedal stuck to floor

hey guys so im just about done with my 24v swap and i bled my brake lines today perfectly fine and have excellent brake pressure. so next step was my clutch line. so im bleeding it and got all the air out and fluid comes out fine but the pedal still doesnt build pressure. btw the clutch slave has under 2k on it. it was originally on my e36 m3 and i changed it before i pulled the engine and trans. the clutch master cylinder idk how many miles it has, but before tearing everything apart my clutch pedal worked fine.

    help me out please!

If its not returning there has to be some air still in there or a leak somewhere a buddy of mine had a hell of a time bleeding his clutch on his 328is he once had ended up looking fine every time but the clutch would still not fully disengage properly untill finally bimmer works fixed it by power bleeding it

You can try bleeding it again. When my clutch pedal dropped, changing the master/ slave fixed everything.

Reverse bleed it with an oil can. Basically get a squeeze pump type oil can, hook it to the bleeder and pump fluid back up to the master. This will eliminate any air. There are a few threads on this. Search and you should be able to find them.

On my e28 I had to remove the clutch slave cylinder, leaving the hydraulic line connection intact, and invert the cylinder so the bleed valve pointed upwards to get the air out. Don't do this with the pedal pump method. I used a pressure bleeder. Didn't have his issue on the e30 for some reason...

Go to Bavauto.com and search the video for how to properly bleed the master/slave cylinder.

Try gravity bleeding it for a few hours. Just make sure the fluid level stays full. Look at your clutch master for any leaks. It takes awhile, but I can be done

ok so i swapped my clutch master today and i tried bleeding it and i still wasnt getting any pedal feel. cause im idiot, i had a clutch stop on the car which was stopping the pedal from going all the way down to the floor, but once i removed it and bled it 3-4 tried i had full pedal feel. problem solved lol. thanks for the input anyways guys

Simple solutions are often overlooked. Glad you got it figured out.
