    Coolant water leak 318is

Hey guys im new to the forum but make a long story short.

I drove home yesterday, i suddenly hear a summing noise coming from the gearbox. I look at the temp gauge and its in the red area.
I stop the car and huge cloud of "fog" flyes into the air.
I dont know what to do so i let it cool down and drive the car back home. On my way home it keeps overheating.
When i get home i notice there is no coolant water on the car so i begin to fill it up. The problem is that it is leaking out somewhere between the firewall and the engine. The water lands on the gearbox.
It happened after ive been out drifting. The heater inside the car doesnt work either.
Does it have anything to the sudden weather change? here in Denmark its -15 degrees?
If there is a typical problem on the 318is please let me know

Welcome to R3V. Check to hose connections and the heater valve going into the heater. Also, check the throttle body gasket (not sure if 318 is the same as 325) as it has been known to leak coolant on the 325.
