Is the (HU 921 x) type filter correct for an m42 application?

Mahle HU921x is equivalent to BMW part numbers 11421727300, 1421709514 and 11421709865. Some M42 used a plastic oil filter housing cover, most used metal. This is the metal one. So is the right filter if you have the metal cover type.

HU-921X is the Mann filter number, and it is correct.

Mahle for that is OX-91D.
