Light Bulb Thread

Ok well, Im in need of some H1 bulbs.
I dont want it to look blue in the housing. That Is object no1. So this gets rid of ebay.
I want something bright, but not yellowish or anything but a brilliant white.
I cant spend too much on it as im short funds. So like 80.00 for all 4. (highs)
Also some cheap H3 bulbs (fogs) That are as white as possible w/o blue or too expensive.
I also cant seem to find any silverstars. No one local sells em and all online searches have come up short.
I found THESE but im thinking by the name that they are more blue that what they look like in the picture = riceish.
If you want to chime in about anything (non HID I got that down) feel free. Any opinion welcome.

I tried many different bulbs and all of the others have blue tint crap in the glass. Even though they say Phillips Visionplus is the same its not, I tried them in my fogs and even though they look white they arent as bright.

If you put like a 100w bulb in the fogs, what will happen? Standard is 55w right?

Nice site, now im debating yellow fogs, and lows, or Highs.

I run silverstars in my 530i. They are friggin bright white. Looks like a 747 coming in for a landing. Big difference from my e30.

They could also overheat the glass and make it more likely to crack.

Get the 55w Osram Silverstars. People in Africa will se you coming.

LoL time to take out the ricer bulbs a friend had. Good thing I asked, I only had em in for 2 days.

For fog lights, how would these look? Im a fan of the yellow lights.
PHILIPS - Yellow Star 55W $30/Pair
So it would be yellow fogs with hella white lows.
Then maybe some NARVA / PHILIPS - Gold 55W $15 / Each for the highs.

Phillips suck, I have them in my fogs now.

Are they just not bright or something? Im just looking to get a really yellow fog light, so its going to be more looks than anything else. I may have to reconsider for the highs though, if infact Pillips arent very bright.
