    recommend a cooling system flush product

    I have heard everything from CLR to sticking a garden hose on the over flow
    Jlevie said something about oxalic acid but you cant get it nymore, what do you guys use?

    Prestone makes a flushing chemical, I just used it to flush mine since I drained it. Don't really know how well it worked.
    I have friends who are EOD bro.

    That's awesome. I have friends who make coffee for a living, but you don't see me rocking out a bunch of lattes

      The available commercial preparations now are a form of soap. They will clean out everything but rust. Any of the big name products are good.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        dealership trick is shout stain treatment.

        remove thermostat, fill with water and a bottle of shout. let it run for 30 minutes, drain and refill with water until all suds are gone, replace thermostat and fill with coolant.

        or, buy a bottle of flush at an auto parts store and follow directions on bottle.
