If the resevoir is full, you gravity bled the slave with the bleeder pointing up. And still no pressure then I'd say the slave is shot.

I had a similar problem. I wanted to replace the slave for preventative maintenance, the new one wouldn't bleed whatsoever. I popped the old one back in, and it didnt even need to be bled. Worked right away.

You must have disturbed or damaged the seal inside. Try another one.

I think its something to do with me using the vaccuum pump. first I can't get any pressure to build up. Even with it off the car the gauge dosn't move what so ever when everything is hooked up.

I'm suppost to pump and then open the valve, correct?

I may have just have to buy the right tool and remove the top nut to the slave and turn it upside down, like I was going to in the first place.

Open the bleeder valve, and open the fluid resevoir. Let it drip down. It's a PITA, took me 15 mins to bleed it on my own without a pressure bleeder. Be patient, once you have fluid dripping out consistently, close the bleeder, and pump the clutch pedal. Repeat.

              Keep it slideways!!

                Thanks

So, I should still be pumping the pedal even with my vacuum pump?

Well god damn I already bought the pump. ;)

edit: I'm selling, returning the pump I bought to get a pressure bleeder.

new pressure bleeder came in today. Tired it out and it was working like a charm. Fluid was coming out. I just needed to be paitence and do it for a while, while pumping the clutch inbetween. Well after about the third time I just got air....

I ran of out damn fluid!
Ordering some more and this problem is going to be gone!

Ok I THINK it is finally done, I just need some reassurance.

Pumped up the pressure bleeder and went under the car. Opened the bleeder and let the fluid out. Did this a bunch of times while pumping the clutch in between. The pressure came back!

The only problem is the flow of the fluid coming out. It's not like it was for the brakes, filling the whole vinyl tube. It was only streaming down one side of the tube.

I'm not sure if this is a problem since I have pressure back, but I just want to make sure. The clutch feels great. Not as firm as the brake thought, but its probably normal.

Do I have the ok to Go drive the car finally!?!?
