    Convertible leak issue

My E30 325ic has water somehow getting into the area where the top gets stored when it's down. Since I just had a new top put on last year, I want to get the leak fixed so mildew doesn't ruin the new top/window. Any ideas where to start?

The seal around the rear deck .... Mine was leaking and I replaced the seal and it fixed it.

Is there any way to adjust the rear deck height? Mine sits slightly higher on the passenger side then the drivers side, and the seal doesn't compress as much on that side.

Mine is a working electric! And it's the back side that doesn't compress and sits higher......near the trunk.

            Got it.

Edit: The hinges may have been bent previously by the top not being completely stowed in the cavity. When the top is up, is the gap still there?

Also make sure the top is being pulled completely into the cavity. I have to give mine a little nudge to lay it down all the way.
