    Rebuilding blower motor??

I haven't seen any reference to rebuilding these so I'm guessing there is a good reason that its not worth it. Mine started howling pretty loudly a couple of days ago; I'm not really interested in taking the time to install one from a junkyard and new ones are about $250.

Has anybody replaced the bearings? Does it just use bushings? Are the parts swaged so they can't come apart?

Clearance is pretty tight in my car because 24v so I'd like to know what I'm getting into before getting started.

    Thanks

You don't see articles on rebuilding the blower motor because that is nearly impossible. The impellers will usually break (if they aren't already broken) when being removed.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
