    help....removal of the blower motor???

ok this may be stupid and i didnt look at it too good but i am trying to change my wiper assembly and cant seem to find an easy way to do this. im pretty sure the blower motor has to come out but dont see how it works. if someone could simply tell me what needs to be done and where the nuts/bolts are, it would be appreciated. thanks and yes i know i need a bentley but just got the car and havent had a chance to snatch one up yet. thanks again-bogan

i was going to say go get a bently, but looks liek you beat me to it. but unfortunatly im pretty tired, so we'll see how far i get along on this.

im going to guess that you have the wire tray off, and the panel, and that you can see the blower mottor (im assuming this because you see that you have to remove it) anyways, to get the blower out, you have to unlatch that little metal strap that goes over the blower engine, just pry it down with a screwdriver, or some pliers. and it should pop off, remove the 2 wires and pull out the blower. then you have the plastic vent pieces, those are bolted on as well, and then there is 2 plastic clips on it that you have to snap out, use a pair of pliers or somthing that is capable of collapsing them so you can push it back through the hole. then you can remove those 2 large plastic pieces that are in the way. and it should be pretty straight forward from there.

You're gonna need to get at least the driver's side flapper disconnected too. I finally got that popped off by just prying the plastic snapped in linkage off with a screw driver. Then, finally I could get the wiper assembly out.
        Let's go exploring!
