I've got a 1988 supereta and I'm interested in extending the steering wheel. From past experience with other cars I know it's difficult to get an idea of dimensioning without actually putting the replacement on there.
I've currently got a three spoke wheel that looks like an Mtech1 (horn buttons on each spoke, but no M colors). Nice wheel, but it looks like it has about 2" of dish (which would be from the point where it fits on the spline, which seems to be recessed). I could take it off and measure, but I’m hoping someone has done that and can tell me what the offset is ;)
And has anyone used some extenders? I had a Sparco with a 2" extender on a previous vehicle and liked it. The Sparco 375 has about 1.25" of dish; a Nardi Personal Grinta has about 2". With either I could use an extender. But I'l like to know if that's worked for folks.
