    Plastic under tray

I need some help finding the specs for the nuts that hold the plastic undertray under the front of the engine in my '91 318is. The tray has holes that slip over 4 or 6 threaded studs. I've lost the nuts, and can't find the part in realoem.
    Thanks for any suggestions!

      I used 16131176747 . The standard plastic 10mm nuts.
      It's what's listed on realoem http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...34&hg=51&fg=70

Thanks, I'll give them a try. I'm still stuck in not being able to find this plastic skid plate/aero aid/oil-leak-stopper in any parts fiche, but at least now I'll be able to re-install the part!

          Panel is #10, nut is #11: http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E3...at_insulation/

Yeah.. it is tricky to find on realOEM

            here's the path:
            vehicle trim/insulation/heat insulation

            here's the realOEM/318is page link you're after.

I did the whole job too and remember just ordering like twelve each of #11, 12, & 13. Everything is all new with extras for spares.

Use a toothbrush and anti-seize to coat hardware afterward for extra OCD points..

Thanks for the links. You know, I looked at that page several times, and missed my part each time! I'll also order the screws and body nuts, and get this reinstalled.

Just so you know, the real job of that tray is to help the cooling system efficiency so your A/C works properly.

And that's important today in upstate NY, where the high will be 12! :D Seriously though, thanks for the tip, I didn't know that.
