    5 speed swap Q's

    I have a 1987 325i auto.
I bought a 1988 325is transmission and etc. EXCEPT driveshaft.
    I may buy a 1989 325i driveshaft.

Will all of this go together well? I heard the output flange on some transmissions are different than others, i planned on reusing my auto guibo since i assume it would fit on the new transmisson. Its a G260 transmission so i assumed any E30 manual driveshaft will do. Am i wrong? I searched but found no clear answer! I am going crazy over this confusion!:drink:

You can use the drive shaft from any 325e/es or 325i/is/ic manual car. Depending on what year car the drive shaft comes from you may to change the Center Support Bearing to the late style part.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
