    Shaving m20b25 head

I think I am going to have a head rebuilt to swap onto the m20b25. How much can I safely shave off of it? If I can, I want to raise compression up a little bit with that. I know its not the "best" way to raise compression, but while I am rebuilding the head...why not?

there is a "safe" mark on the head that you can shave it to. it is a indent on each side if you look at the bottom. you are supposed to run a thicker gasket when you shave it, but i never have and have had no problems.
