hey guys i have a real problam i have a chipped (cheep ebay)1985 325e with a shity cold air intake so any ways the problem .......when i start her up she runs fine for about 20 minutes then she loses all power under load untell i hit 2500 rpm's then she picks rite up.......now hears the weird part if i shut the car off and turn her back over she runs great ........for about 5 minutes and then the prolem comes back and i can shut it off again and boom she's back to running great for a sec...............any thought's??????????????????

one more thing....it idles at 500 rpm's when she's acting up and if i shut her down and start her back up she idles fine

Afm is sticking. Take the filter off. Clean the afm with some maf cleaner & flap the door.

thats kinda what i was leaning towerds but the fact that i can shut the car off and turn it back on and fix the problem for a minute is throwing my thought process off hella on this one but i'm gonna give it a shot

You try removing the chip?

i havnt taken the chip out for lack of a stock chip at the moment but thats what my pop's told me as well......does any one know how common it is for those cheep ebay chips to fail?....just incase the chip is not the problem .....any other ideas???????
