86 es, when i hit a bump or pot hole it sounds like the right rear is bottoming out. shocks are heavy duty billies and only 3 yrs old. the car handles fine and seems normal if you push the rear up and down as if to check for bad shocks. what are the tell tail signs of bad bushings? could it be a blown shock? i'm not that well versed at suspensions. she is stock ride hight. just looking for a heads up as to where to look if that makes sense.

Pull the inner liner in the trunk, push the car up and down and look to see if the shock shaft is moving up and down in the mount.sigpic
