    Air filter and afm question

    I had the ka motors intake on my e34 I was wondering do I need to convert my afm meter on my e30 to a maf to put this on?

    I believe you can just get an adapter.

        You aren't going to see any performance improvement from replacing the stock airbox (it is really that good).
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

            I'm not terribly familiar with M20's but I know there is a MAF conversion that itself is supposed to be pretty beneficial. The adapters to run a cone filter or other intake from the AFM can be sourced off Ebay for cheap.

              This guy is right.
              The other item that is in the airbox is a velocity stack that helps the stock meter.
              I have a Miller MAF kit and really like it. That will net you some gains in performance.
