Ok so i bought my first E30 not too long ago and i almost alway have a problem with the Central locking. At first it worked most of the time, then rarely, then never. So i went into the door and connnected the 2 red/black wires, like more people say to do. That fixed it!...for about 30 minutes. No more then 3 unlocks and 3 locks and it was back to not working at all.
So i come to you, what do you think could be the problem?
-It doesnt work for either door or the trunk
-I felt by the CLU and there was no signs of water for water damage
Fuse #28 is not blown, even replaced with a new 30a just to be sure.
Also while im here. Would the CLU from an E36 work in the E30? Theres a few 2door E36's around my house for part out and i might be able to get one.
