    Turbo setup Question

    If you were to start a turbo project,
    which
    1;manifold would you choose?
    a: complete tubing
    b: add on piece from OEM Manifolds
    2;which turbo ?
    3;how much you think it would cost you?
    4; would you go for a ready built kit"if price was right"?

      1. pro-turbo custom as seen on their site.. if money as not a concern... but otherwise i think the adapter i more than adequate...

      2. probably a garret gt35R but i dont know for sure i would need to do some math

        These questions have been over and over.

        It all depends on what you want and what you're willing to spend.

        Price range could be from 1k - 3k. Personally i'm in the 2k area right now.

        Manifolds, get a ProTurbo add-on for stock manifolds or go all out and make a custom manifold to fit your needs. Intake tubing (turbo to intercooler to intake manifold) should be around 2", someone correct me if im wrong on this.

        Wich turbo to get, hybrid turbo is the way to go preferably...something like a .62 compressor .60 turbine.

        Theres not a built kit for m20s as far i know, except for Kormans and the price is definetly not right.

        As for tuning goes, theres a lot of options like:
        MegaSquirt\MegaJolt
        SMT6 piggy back
        Haltech
        Microtec
        MSD Ignition box with boost retard
