What kind of material can hold up to sulfuric acid? Or can the inside be anodized while doing no harm?

What does sulfuric acid have to do with anything? Why on earth would you anodize it?

Sulferic acid is needed to anodize aluminum, that's what eh is referring to I assume.

As far as anodizing it, I know that if you scratch the aluminium the metal can flake, which you wouldn't want in your engine. I also don't know how well it would hold up to heat.

Besides, a super shiny valve cover would just look tacky IMO.

My valve cover is anodized. I think it looks good, it also won't chip off like paint or powdercoating.

I had mine powdercoated and love the way it turned out and it only cost like $40.00 to have it done.
