    m42 compression check.

alright, well i did a compression test on my m42... it read 180psi give or take 1 or 2 psi accross the board... isn't that unusualy high? the specs are supposed to be 150. i put cam's in, and got the head machined slightley. i don't think it should have raised that much tho...

Not sure exactly. If its suppose to be 150 and you machined the head, its POSSIBLE for it to change that much. If its 180 +-2psi in all 4 cylinders, thats a good thing :)

I had the head shaved .020" on my old eta, and that thing had about 180-190 psi on each cylinder. Very nice
