    anti-theft lugbolts

When I got my car, it came w/ an anti-theft lugbolt on each wheel (because my bottlecaps are sooo valuable). Somehow I can't seem to locate the keys, which is a problem for me right now because I have a flat.

If I can't find my keys, what's the best way to get those off my car? Should I just take a drill and go at it or is there a better way?

there is a one time too you can buy, check at a tire shop. you just hammer it onto the locking bolt and take it off. after that its pretty much garbage (the tool that is) but it will work.

If you can get the other 3 off, sometimes you can use the leverage of the wheel to break the fourth lug, then either drill it or use a stud remover to get the rest of the bolt out.

Goto a wheel and tire shop, good chance they will have the proper key you need.

If not they will have the proper snap on damaged lug bolt remover to take the sucker off. Had to this to my mom's Sienna, fucking retards overtorqued the wheels at the dealer when putting new tires on.

          Keep it slideways!!

I actually found those keys, they were hiding in plain sight (I'm retarted).

Now my next question is, is it safe to drive on what is almost certainly the original 17 year old spare tire?

So long as its not showing visable signs of age, like dry rotting cracks.

Tires that are kept aired up and dry generally last a LONG time. I'm sure you'd be fine.
