Parts car has column locked, need to bust ign switch

As title states I need to move my parts car and turn it but the steering column locked. I went at it with a flat head and can't bust the damn thing. Stupid thing is the next day found the keys.. And they won't work because the whole ign switch is beat up.

Any ideas? I thought most crooks can just pop a driver in there and turn the ignition in seconds.

Can't you unbolt the ignition switch and free it up?

I had the same problem before you can start the car easily.....I'm sure you figured that out. Use a slide hammer to pop the tumbler out.

removed the steering wheel and take out the little pin that pops up to lock the wheel in place.

You can't remove the steering wheel if the steering is locked.

Some more smashing and it did come out. My momo hub was stuck. Thanks guys

Could drill it out with a 1/4" drill bit and use a screwdriver to turn the tumbler. Had to do that a couple times.
