    electric roof button

i've been a member of this forum for a while but never thought to ask a question i've been wondering for a while

i have an '87 cab with manual roof.

above the switch for the heated seats on the center console there is an up and down switch the same as the elec window switches. Would this switch have been for an electric roof at some point?
    thanks

electric roof switch is/would be above in front of the rear view mirror where the manual crank is for the sunroof. But many people have relocated that sunroof switch to the center consol.

      cool

actually i mean the switch for the full convertable roof rather then a sun roof.

I would think this was for window locks. But not having been inside an 87 cabby I can't say for sure.

The electric roof switch is usally located on the dash above the radio. NOT down on the center console....And if you have heated seats then there should be 2 switchs. One for each front seat (these switchs do look like window ones') and are locate don the center console

                  no one answered you?

previous owner changed the heated seats switch with a window switch.
they should both look the same (and be the heated seats switch)
