    Intake problem??

so i was thinking about going with a cone air filter, mostly to make my intake louder, but i came upon this thread http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...drilled+airbox

its kinda ricey i know, but i drilled some good sized holes on the lower part of my box, put it back on, and hooked everything back up. I started the engine and pulled on the throttle to see how it sounded, and it was like my car idled, and it shut off. Started it again and the check engine light came on.

I couldnt see anything wrong so i tried driving it around the neighborhood and when i pushed on the gas, like i normally accelerate, it felt like pressure was builing up, but it didnt accelerate, but when i pushed on it slightly, it drove fine.

so wtf did i do this time?

-Maybe you didn't tighten the boot very well?

He left the AFM disconnected, almost sure of it. Either that or he didn't attach a boot all the way.

Way to go me for restating everything in this thread.

Also make sure the ICV didn't pop out of its little "bung" in the boot. I've seen that cause troubles before.
