Build up of coolent on lines running to heatercore...

I noticed the other day when I was fixing the spring on my clutch pedal that I had a massive amount of buildup along the firewall where the inlet and outlet is for the coolent flowing through the heatercore. There's no coolent running down on my feet, it's just building up right there, looks like the buildup you would see in a cave.

After feeling it, it's not really wet, but a little moist. I'm wondering if it's just the link in my engine bay right in front of the firewall - maybe it's sprung a small leak?

It's not on the control valve, my heater functions properly without issue. it's RIGHT behind the firewall.

    Any ideas?

Did your car have the heater core bypass valve Recall done to it?

No idea. I have no records... I could probably find out.

Is this the symptom of not having it done?
