    Gas mileage gauge / Econogauge

When I start my car or am sitting at idle, the mileage gauge will go to 0. As I'm driving, it sweeps as it should, but when I coast in neutral, it will go to the far left (40+). My question is, should it always be sitting at the far left when at idle?

It also lags about a half second if I accelerate / let off. Is that indicitive of a vaccuum leak?

    Thanks!

Seems to me it is behaving as it should.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Your rpm gauge lagging for a second as you let off is what probably indicates a vac leak.

My tach isn't lagging, the mileage gauge lags about a half second when I accelerate/let off.
