    Starter is gone?

I tryed to start my 325e and all of a sudden the starter isnt working at all (even though i had just parked it 20 mins before i tryed to start it.). All electrical has power throughout the car (headlights break lights wipers) , also when i put the car in the on position before you start the engine theres a buzzing sound comin from under the car toward the rear left wheel. Anyone had any problems related to this ...do i have to get a new starter? i had literally parked my car went in my house for 20 mins came out and car doesnt start?????
    -thankz for all your help

sometimes... when the starter begins its death spiral... it will become very hard to start after the engine heats up (heat makes the bearing in the starter expand and seize enough that the thing wont spin)

so yeah, odds are you need a new starter

You check the connections at the starter?

Ifit acts as if there's no power to the starter, then check the ground cable running from the frame to the oil pan. If you have jumper cables clip them onto the drain plug and a bolt head or other metal outcropping, then try and start it. I had this happen to me recently and it took a month to figure out that it was just a ground. If that IS the problem you'll want to replace it, and I suggest moving it up to a secure spot on the block.

I have a starter from a 1986 325e that worked flawlessly until I removed the engine.

            40$ + shipping from SoCal.

            PM if interested.
