    Yet another idle problem

    Howdy guys,
I'm new to this forum, so first ill introduce myself by the car I drive: a '92 318i vert (M42). For the past couple months I've been trying to hunt down the same problem in my car represented by the 1222 stomp code. The car cranks but will not start unless i give it gas, and its gotten to the point where it will die as soon as I let off the gas (this used to only be the case as it warmed up but now even warm it will die). I also have white smoke coming out of the exhaust. New spark plugs, injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, and I just cleaned the TB and ICV. I don't think there are any vacuum/intake leaks either. Where else do y'all suggest I look?

Replace the O2 sensor and have a shop run a smoke test.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks! I'm taking it in for a smoke test now. Is it possible that the fuel pressure regulator is bad?
