    1987 325e wont start

okay , i am new so have mercy please. here is the problem, car was running fine than died a few times while driving ,it would always start right back up. it died for good a month ago, i have replaced the crank position senders, ecu and main relay and fuel pump relay. i was not getting any power to fuse #11 (fuel and auxilary fuel pump ) after the ecu swap i am getting power to the fuse but the relay is buzzing like a bitch, turns over wont catch and no rpms on the tach. i have cleaned all the grounds, plugs are new, voltage present to the coil and i cleaned and tested the reference sensor today. timing belt looks good as the valvetrain moves while cranking, any help would be most appreciated

Have you checked the actual fuel pump(s) itself?

You have power to the coil, have you checked your spark? You've checked for fuel at the fpr also?

Put a voltmeter on the fp while cranking - sounds like the old fp relay was bad and the new ones not wired right.

Check the new fp relay against the old. Make sure the diagram is the same. If its not, you'll have to move the wires or get a different relay. I've had to move the wires before - it's not fun.
