on early eta's, the cps on the harmonic balancer... the wires go nowhere except the diagnostic plug. does it do nothing for the motronic? strictly for a diagnostic reader thing? if so, thats dumb. I'm gonna pull it off. just one more wire and sensor to collect grime. I guess the 2 reference sensors do all of the work.

im pretty sure its for the tach, and for the ecu as well, but i could be wrong. -
