A/C boost??help!

So i discovered today that when my Cold air button is engaged my car in neutral wants to almost redline. When i turn the button off the car returns to normal. If i turn on the A/c at speed the throttle will stay at whatever RPM. When this is happening i can have nothing on the pedal and it will stay this way, giving it gas only raises the RPM it stays at. What in the world is going on??

haha i wish... the car does accelerate better though when it is engaged.... Its so messed up. Oh well i guess this summer cool comes at a cost..

naw. it has to do with your icv. its a very common problem. first, try taking it off the engine and spray carb cleaner in it really good. you can watch all the dirt and grease drip out of there. if that doesn't work, replace it with a new one.
