I just got done replacing every single suspension component and the motor gave out. Its possible the car is going to sit for a few months. Right now I have it on 4 jack stands with the wheels hanging in the air. Is this going to hurt anything? Should I put it back on the ground?

I wouldn't recommend it.... If there is no other option, make sure you have them on the appropriate points. As long as it is all even and on level ground, technically speaking you should be ok. Once again, I personally wouldn't leave it up for that long.
