    Fuel Pump?

I have a 87 325, My car continues to stop as i have the acceleration pushed in, i either have to jump start it, or just keep pushing the acceleration in, it sometimes fires back up, sometimes doesnt.

Also my rev tac, is a little jumpy now.

Any explanation of what might cause this? is it the fuel pump or not?

I changed the ECU, and now when i start the car up it idles fine, like before but when i give it gas it used to rev up to like 3500 then stop and not let me give it gas for a sec.

But now if i give it gas it hessitates alot, and rpms do not go up. =(

Any ideas of what might cause that

i'd look at a spark problem

when the car is hesistating, what's the voltage read across the + and - battery terminals?

      places to look are:
      ground cable in the trunk
pos cable in the trunk (look for abrasions)
batt terminal behind the coolant tank (loose connection)
alternator (voltage regulator or faulty wiring)

also could be your distibutor rotor and/or cap, plugs, wires, etc. when's the last time you changed these parts?
