    Strut or Springs Clunk

I can hear this clunk sound while driving over bumps, sometimes when I turn.
If I push the front of the car down I can hear the clunk happening as the springs and struts contract.

I did replace the springs and struts about a year ago, but I was not driving the car much. The clunk noise has worsen.

What's the 1st thing to look at?

    Thank you.

Ball joints in the control arms, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, and stabilizer links.

rear shock mounts - usually causing clunking and on mine it sounded like it was coming from up front

Could also be the nut on top of the strut/strut mount assembly. They are known to work loose and will clunk.
