Car has been running like shit lately and it had baffled me. Oil Check light came on last night while I was working on the car. I had just changed the oil so this baffled me. I checked the oil and found it milky. Looks like I am going to be doing a rbuild in the coming week. That's one way to speed up a stroker.

Update: Looks like it just the head gasket that went south. I will know more in few hours. Either way the head has to come off. Anybody know someone in Orange County that does good head work? If the head is coming off I might as well go through it now.Just livin in the OC minus my E30 -
I can get in you in with Rick Kemp, he does the best head work money can buy and he's in LB. A little on the expensive side...we'll get a quote if you like though.
Get that head pressure tested before you spend a dime on it though. M20 heads are known to crack when the car overheats or gets close to overheating; and I remember you had some cooling system problems a little while back.Adam Fogg- '88 M3

Yeah I had an overheating problem several months ago. I just replaced the DME and that solved one problem. Now they are trouble shooting the other 2 problems. It looks like I might need your head guy.I have a spare head out of my parts car so that will go the rebuilder if the other is cracked or damaged.
