    Aux fan question

My aux fan runs well when my car is not running but when it's running my fan rattle and shake like crazy.

What can be causing that ? Bad resistor ?

Loose mounting or bad bearings would be the first things I'd check for.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

It runs like a new when the car isn't running.

Just thinking out loud.....Jiggle the wiring when the car isn't running - maybe the vibration is exposing a bad connection?

I'm gonna try it but 2 fans in a row do the same behavior.

Check your engine mounts. Is the engine shaking when it is running?
