Huh? My BMW wont start?

This morning I got up and start up BMW with no problem. Then I went to gas station to get some gas. Then, I tried to start nothing struggle or turn the engine on. The guages and lights and everything is fine. The battery is new and good and also new starter. What the heck? Any suggestions? I had to miss my work today. ARGH!

Check the ground running from the frame to the oil pan.

Use a jumper cable, and clip one end on the drain plug, and the other on a bolt head. If it cranks then, the ground cable needs to be replaced.

that has happened to me...
i'm lazy and i just push started it and after that it continued to start fine. the problem occured again for me but it was due to a weak battery

I checked all fuses are good.. Let me try use jumper cable from frame to starter.

my car was did the same thing a couple weeks ago. It would start fine no problems and then one day it would crank but no turnover and start. Changed the fuel filter and bam there it went. I could be way off but just thought i'd tell you my story.

You cannot tell if its bad fuel filter. Unless you need to start to crank if it didnt fire up that's possible bad fuel filter. But, I cannot crank.

I did look for wires loose and didnt find one. There is no click in starter. I suspected old alarm cause cut it off the starter?? If so? what should I find about alarm?

OK. Now it's not from frame to the starter. It's from the frame to the oil pan. If you went to the starter, you won't get anything.

I know you said it was a good battery, but I'd check the battery voltage, under load, and then test the starter and solenoid. If you're not even getting a tick tick tick sound from it, then it's not even kicking out the actualto to spin the motor. You may want to remove connection from your starter, and use your jumpers to see if your starter will spin, when disconnected from the system. I don't recommend removing the starter for this, as it's a bit of a pain to get out and in.

Have you tried tightening your battery connectors yet?

I had the same problem the first time I tried starting my car after I did the 5 speed swap. After hours of messing with it we disconnected the battery terminals for 2 mins and reconnected them and it started right up.

Even I tried use jumper to battery from my 1999 Cherokee Grand Liimited v8. Was hope it will fire up. But no help..

Yes, I tighten battery cables.

I am going try to disconnect the cable and test it.

I disconnected battery for 10 mins and its same.

I took battery out of bmw and use the jumper connect the cable of (-) connect to engine block and the (+) cable connect to starter head. It didn't tick or crank up. That mean my starter is JUNK?

put the grnd on a good ground point, and use the clamp to jump between the switched stud, and the main hot wire on the starter. It should spin the motor if the starter's good. You may have to take it out (I hope not).
if you have 3 one is for the security no start feature.

Which one are you talk about? I use jumper (+) on number #3 it didn't click or tick.
