Breaking into the trunk and junk yard

Hey just I found a e30 and the junk yard today and would like to get into the trunk. Anyways the keys are long gone and the trunk lock has been smashed. Someone had already tried the pry bar method and I added some to that. Did not get anywhere with it so just gave up. May be going back and was wondering if you guys had any tricks to get them open in the junk yard.

If the lock is smashed try to remove it and push the pin inside...it will open the trunk. I had found an e30 at the junkyard that someone also had tried getting into. The smashed the trunk, lock and just about everything back there. I took a hammer I had and swang the hammer from right to left horizontally hitting the lock and the trunk popped open.

Pop out the rear seat and hit out the ski pass? Then see if you can get to the trunk lock. Just a thought

Light up an M80 where the lock used to be, that should do the trick.

BIG flat head screwdriver and sledge hammer. Drive it into the lock as far as you can; wiggle it around and it should pop open. had the same problem here with a parts car I had.
                    jimmy the lock no problem.

Alright well I was wanting to check the tail light gaskets as mine are shot. Also looked complete so may be able to raid the tool box in the back for my missing stuff. Plus just to dig around you never know what you will find.

This, reusing a taillight gasket is like reusing a timing belt or a condom. They are like 10 dollars dude.
