Need your help to fix my convertible power top

I performed the initialization procedure and still have a problem with the lid cover is going far enough than came back. When the foot of the top goes down for storage it hits the lid cover. I have looked at the cables and most seem tight. What can I do to fix?

    Here is the video

hmmm.....when the top gets to the point at the end of the video, can you grab a hold of the boot lid and pull it back out of the way? does it feel like there is slop in the lid? it kind of looks to me that the boot lid motor is still out of sync.

where did you find the initialization procedure? i want to look that over and maybe i can get a better idea how to help you out...

I could pull it back out of the way. But does not feel like there is slop in the lid.
I was following process from e30ic.com
      I'll take another video today

There is a rod, in the center of the compartment the top stores, that is attached to the deck lid and controls where the lid stops. Find it and adjust it.

look slike you need to redo procedure because lid should stop at top dead, right now it comes back a bit. Also look at what Todd Black said

My 325iC was convert from power top to manual, is there a way to have a rod/stalk that can hold the compartment lid open when I manually lower the top? I am just leaning my body to hold it now and it's not convenience...

Yes, if it was power, reinstall the deck lid motor and use the switch on the dash to open the lid and close the lid.

No, it's in where the top is stored.
With the roof closed, start the opening procedure. When the rear hoop of the canvas top is up and the rear deck has opened fully, stop. Look inside the compartment and you will see the are on the wall at the back of the compartment.(trunk side, not cabin side)
Pop the arm of the lever ball, and adjust it to lengthen or shorten depending on what you need.

                  Part 2 here.

So I opened lid top by switch. Open part 30 (screw) took out part 4 hoping to adjust but that part can only go one way :(

The vertical rod in this picture adjusts. The bottom piece of it threads onto the top piece. Yours should look like this picture when the deck is open fully

Yes, look on real oem for the deck lid support parts. Should be a couple of shocks iirc. I am not certain on that, as mine is power.
