    you are in Vancouver?

Anyways, i found out that the leak is most likely from the old and tired foam seal attatched to the blower motor housing.
Bad news is that, to get the housing out, I need to rip apart the dash....
I'm going to use a good silicon sealant and top it off with a weather sealing tape. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

I apologize, my misunderstanding. I missed the pictures the first time around. That leak seems very annoying; not a huge discomfort, but just enough to be an annoyance.

the leak was from the foam seal around the blower motor housing, I sealed it with silicone and the problem is gone :p
I would've replaced the seal, but I was informed that in order to remove the housing, I would need to remove the dash.

If in the future, I remove the dash for some reason, I wil redo it.

My passenger front floor is soaked!

My rear sunroof drain in the rocker is plugged, going to fix that in a few. But I noticed if I pour water into my vents it comes out near the front of the fender on both sides, in a completly different spot then the drip hole where the sunroof drains out.

            Is this normal?

            Sold it.

^^^ Look where battery tray is by pass side engine. (Yeah, CABBY battery tray). Look right of that 4 inches or so. That is where water is supposed to drain from.

              Other sources for water leaks:

Water: Winshield and rear window seals are supposed to be installed with a sealant...this gets old, dries and shrinks, allows water into cowl and trunk, respectively.

Coolant: Notice the two drains off of the heater core housing? Supposed to catch core leaks and flow them to under the car.

Good catch on the blower motor gasket.

Also, I just spent a few weeks tearing apart and replacing chunks of floor pan. If you have water leaking, and still have carpet, you are fucked.

It is basically a large piece of foam rubber <read:sponge> that is sitting on barely painted metal. It will rust, the damn fine undercoat will make it impossible to see from underneath, and soon, you will be driving swiss cheese.

As I type, it's raining like a mofo....

I took care of my pooling battery tray/jack trays years ago.

I refuse to look under my carpet.

                    Ignorance is bliss?

Nah my floors are definetly solid (I check quite often by hitting it with a hammer and my car has only been in canadian climate for 4 years), but lifting up my carpet will just piss me off and cause me to sell my car.

I constantly find water in my glove box when it rains. Sometimes I find the passenger side carpet damp and assume the water's point of entry to be from the same location. I've already checked the elephant trunk side vents, rocker panel oulets for blockage- everything is clear. I came across this thread and decided to give this fix a shot. Below are some pics of the foam just under the blower motor:

Thankfully, the rainy season is drawing to a close where I live. I hope the pics help others who have water leaks and have not looked here for a possible leak. Much thanks to royalflush313 for the find. Going out to seal this bad boy now!

Back from the dead. I am tracking down leaks originating from this area. Anyone find a way to resolve it? I already have the whole dash out and am prepared to just yank this thing out. Also, the flaps that are on there are stuck open and if water splashed into there it runs on top of the carpet near the evaporator.

Heres some pictures to get a better idea:

Also check this area, I found a fairly obvious leak:
