fuel starvation in right handers (early model)

During my race last weekend on my second to last run of the day on day 1 and the second run day 2 the car seemed to have fueling problems. During hard right hand corners, both happened to be 3rd gear 4500 rpm, I'd floor it and nothing would happen, the tach just hangs and the car doesnt really accelerate. Then when the car flattens out it's good again.

My car is an early model, so it has the two pumps. Im guessing since the transfer pump is on the right side of the car (right hand turn, fuel sloshes left) that this is the one i should try replacing first.

After both session adding gas solved the problem. Just want to see if my guess is correct, or if anyone else has had this problem and found a solution. Car had at least 1/2 a tank when the problem occurred, i'd like to be able to run it below that. Any advice or input would be appreciated.

Check out what the spec guys are doing and do the same. Id check first to see if the transfer pump is even working.

Rather common, you need one of these, then even with fuel light on no starvation. All our spec cars get them.

Where does this mount? Near the in-line pump? Looks like an easy and relatively cheap fix. Thanks for the recommendation.
