So I scooped me a 06/91 cabrio. both roof motors are good but I think the mounting point for one of the rods broke and the guy disconnected the roof motor.
Here is what happens:
With the soft top down; we push the switch and the soft top lid opens for the roof to come out. But since there is no power to the roof we manually have to pull the roof out. once that is done we try to power the lid down and it won't move.
what could be stopping the process to complete?
And what could be done to fix the broken rod support mount?
any help would be appreciated.
