Searched the forums a bit to find a thread about switching an ECU (not chipping it), and it's effects - both positive and potential negative - on performance. I couldn't find what I was after...
What I am looking at is a M42B18 full stock set up. Of course I am not starting with the ECU (that`s later), however, I am interested in starting to learn the initials of this area. I want to be able to make a good decision when I get there...
So?! Can somebody please point me to some good and reputable information, that outlines different ECU types and the pros/contras - on this topic?
Or you may be experienced in this area and have time to explain for a complete newbie. <?>
